LIP FLIP
The lip flip is a quick and minimally invasive aesthetic procedure designed to slightly lift the upper lip and create the appearance of fuller lips – without dermal fillers.
Small amounts of botulinum toxin are injected into the muscles above the upper lip. The toxin temporarily relaxes these muscles, causing the lip to gently roll outward. This creates the illusion of added volume and enhances the lip’s shape without actually increasing its size.
Treatment Process:
The procedure is performed using a fine needle
Usually causes only minimal discomfort
Numbing is typically not required
Onset and Duration:
Visible effects appear in 3–5 days, with full results in around 14 days
The effect lasts for 3–4 months, and the treatment is repeatable
Possible Side Effects:
Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site
Temporary smile asymmetry (rare)
Difficulty using a straw or whistling (temporary and rare)
Not recommended in case of:
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Neuromuscular disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis)
Active infection/inflammation at the treatment site
Allergy to botulinum toxin
GUMMY SMILE
A gummy smile occurs when the upper lip lifts excessively while smiling, revealing a significant portion of gum tissue above the upper teeth. While entirely harmless, this can disrupt facial harmony and be a source of insecurity for many.
This treatment aims to reduce gum exposure while smiling – without surgery.
Botulinum toxin is injected into the muscles responsible for lifting the upper lip. By relaxing these muscles, the upper lip rises less when smiling, resulting in less visible gum tissue.
Treatment Process:
The procedure is performed using a fine needle
Usually causes only minimal discomfort
Numbing is typically not required
Onset and Duration:
Initial effects in 3–5 days, full result by day 14
Duration: 3–4 months, then the procedure can be repeated
Possible Side Effects:
Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at injection site
Temporary smile asymmetry (rare)
Overcorrection may cause a slightly stiff upper lip (rare)
Mild headache or discomfort (rare)
Not recommended in case of:
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Neuromuscular conditions (e.g., myasthenia gravis)
Active infection or inflammation at the injection site
Allergy to botulinum toxin
